What Is a Litigation Funder

As a litigation funder Jericho provides funding to businesses and individuals who hold solid claims for loss and damage and prefer not to risk expenditure in the pursuit of their claim.

• Jericho provides funding for the litigation expenses related to the claim-holders case and, agrees to pay any legally related costs incurred during the term of the funding agreement as well as any adverse costs order should the claim-holder lose their case.
• In return, Jericho receives a right to be reimbursed all that it has paid out and a fair share of the amount awarded to the claim-holder by way of judgement or paid to the claim-holder by way of settlement.
• As a litigation funder, Jericho does not provide legal advice and is not paid on an hourly rate. Legal advisors funded by Jericho do not enter contingent liability agreements with either the claim-holder or with Jericho itself.
